I'm HOT! No, not that kind of HOT, this kind of HOT:
Tonight, Jeff and I are going to see Tim McGraw and Lady Antabellum in Tampa. I would almost rather be here:

If It Can Go Wrong, It Will!
It has been one of those weeks where if it can go wrong, it shall go wrong.
Yes, under all of that is our septic tank. So, while I was in Colorado, my wonderful husband, by himself, started to dig.
And Dig....
I will spare you the photo of what it looked like when they removed the lid. Yes, he did send me a photo of it. And yes, it was full! So, after they cleaned, and cleaned and cleaned it some more, we are now toilet noise free.
We started to notice our toilet in the master bedroom making a funny noise. Sort of a glub, glub and bubbles coming up, where everything should be going down. Ya'll get what I'm talking about, right? First concern, need a new toilet. Naw, that can't be it, this one is only 2 years old. Other concern, it could be our septic. Yep, we live where there is not a sewer, but a septic.
At this point, most people would say, no big deal. You call the septic company, they send someone out and they open the tank and clean it out. (Not a job for the faint of heart, or someone with a strong sense of smell!) Most people could do that unless the location of your tank looks like ours:

He didn't think to take a "before" photo because I already knew what it looked like!
The moral of this story is that all of our, you know what, has to go somewhere!

How Does Your Garden Grow?
Flowers on the stems of squash
Flowers on Zuchinni, I think? Or were these the squash?
Leaves of the squashchinni. That is what I'm calling it since I don't know which plant it is!
How does our garden grow? In a Box. Don't they all?
Look at how pretty my lettuce is!
Can't wait. A few more weeks and I will be overloaded with veggies! I love this time of year. Although by the end of it I will be saying, How much squash can one person eat?!
Woke up to this...
This morning I awoke early, worked on the computer for a bit and then heard a loud "thump" from outside. Since it was 5:30 a.m, it was still dark and I assumed it was our paper being thrown over the gate. WRONG. It was a couple of possums being hit by someone driving down the road. One landed in our driveway, the other a bit further down. Jeff had to go out and scoop the one out of our driveway. How I wished I had grabbed my camera then. Jeff had to fight with a vulture to get it. However, he left the one down the road. I'm now afraid to let our dogs out to go to the bathroom!
